I created this workshop to help adult learners gain the written communications skills they needed to succeed in higher education and their careers. The workshop focuses on the revision process, and provides simple and quick exercises that help learners identify bad writing habits and fix them. Recently, I flipped the workshop using Camtasia to offer it to remote learners at Chamberlain University. Enjoy!
I designed this short ten-to-fifteen minute training using Microsoft PowerPoint to address a major problem in the contemporary workplace: disruptions from co-workers. Here, adult learners discuss body language and whether a co-worker is in deep focus and should not be interrupted or if a co-worker is more open to a work-related interruption.
As a faculty member in higher education, I designed and delivered 20 courses in the last six years. Here you will find a summary of those courses as well as links to course syllabi that I developed.
Here I explore adult learning theory and how I apply it in instructional design and the courses I have taught.
